  • Global Edvocate is my platform for writing and ideas about global education, law, policy, innovation, and the questions that cross borders and disciplines. It brings together professional experience, curiosity, and observation to explore how institutions, technologies, policies, and people shape an increasingly connected world.

  • I am a Senior International Officer, licensed attorney, writer, and international education leader with more than two decades of experience in global engagement and higher education. My work spans international strategy, law and policy, student mobility, partnerships, emerging technology, and the changing role of higher education in a global society.

  • My writing generally falls within three areas: global education, law and policy, and innovation. Within those areas, I write about global mobility, higher education, immigration and policy, artificial intelligence and emerging technology, leadership, belonging, and other questions that catch my attention and seem worth exploring. Not everything fits neatly within those categories, and I occasionally write more personally or reflectively.

I speak at conferences, universities, and professional events on topics including global education, international higher education strategy, law and policy, artificial intelligence, leadership, and innovation. I also participate in panels, workshops, and other formats that allow for deeper conversation and engagement.
